VitaCare Mama Gravid is an all-in-one product that contains exactly the nutrients you and your baby need. The VitaCare ® mama Gravid formula meets Nordic nutritional recommendations and is based on the National Health Council's recommendations for pregnant women.

With VitaCare ® mama Gravid, you get 13 vitamins and 10 minerals in amounts tailored to your needs as a pregnant woman. You also get calcium, magnesium and Omega 3, which contains the important fatty acids DHA and EPA.

Included ingredients and their functions

  • Folic acid/folinic acid prevents neural tube defects in the fetus and is recommended by the Danish Health Authority for pregnant women and women who want to become pregnant. Folic acid also contributes to tissue growth in a pregnant woman, including the placenta.
  • B vitamins contribute to maintaining normal energy metabolism
  • Vitamin D. The body cannot produce vitamin D without sunlight. Vitamin D is used by the body to absorb and convert calcium, which is important for a baby's bone growth and development. A baby's vitamin D levels depend on the mother.
  • Iodine contributes to normal cognitive function.
  • Iron contributes to normal cell division and the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin.
  • Calcium helps maintain healthy bones
  • Fish oil with Omega3 and DHA, where DHA contributes to fetal brain and eye development. Up to 50% of the fetal brain is formed by the time of birth, where DHA fatty acid is an important nutrient. The fetus has difficulty metabolizing fatty acids, so DHA supplementation is important. The beneficial effects of DHA are achieved with a daily intake of 200mg of DHA.
