NOW® Super Omega EPA has twice as much EPA (360 mg per capsule) as in our regular strength product (180 mg per capsule).
This fish oil concentrate is molecularly distilled and produced under strict quality control standards. It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants such as PCBs, dioxins, mercury and other heavy metals. From the FDA: "Supportive but not conclusive studies show that consuming EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids can reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Consuming EPA and DHA together may help lower blood pressure in the general population and reduce the risk of hypertension. However, the FDA said the evidence is inconsistent and inconclusive. One serving of Super Omega EPA provides 1.2 grams of EPA and DHA."
