In our laboratories, we combined extracts from three mushrooms: reishi, shiitake and maitake, resulting in a unique combination of ingredients.

The reishi, shiitake and maitake mushrooms have been used in Japan for hundreds of years. So Solgar decided to draw on the rich experience of phytoexperts from the Land of the Cherry Blossom to create an effective complex.

In Solgar's product, reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) plays a leading role. It has been used for thousands of years. In nature, it contains phytochemicals such as beta-glucans and triterpenes. Studies indicate that reishi supports normal cholesterol levels.

CONCLUSIONS:

  • The product contains extracts of three mushrooms: reishi, shiitake and maitake.
  • Reishi, or Ganoderma lucidum, is a species of fungus known in Poland as lactobacilli, and the main active compounds in it include polysaccharides (the most important are beta-glucans) and triterpenoids.
  • The shiitake mushroom, or Lentinula edodes, is known in Poland as sclerotia, and naturally contains primarily carbohydrates and protein amino acids.
  • Maitake, or Grifola frondosa, commonly known as leafy sailfish, naturally contains 59% carbohydrates, 21% protein, 10% fiber and 3% fat in its dry weight.

(equivalent to 800 mg of Maitake mushroom)
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum): extract from pericarp of mushroom - 60 mg
Shiitake (Lentinula edodes): extract (8:1) from pericarp of mushroom - 3 mg
(equivalent to 24 mg of Shiitake mushroom)
