  • Liposomes are structures formed spontaneously from phospholipids. They take the form of vesicles 0.01-1 μm in size, filled with water or aqueous solution, and surrounded by a double lipid layer about 5 nm thick. The envelope of liposomes is structured analogously to biological membranes. Liposomes are found in living organisms, such as in blood.
  • Liposomes increase the ability to penetrate the epidermis and bioavailability of the active substance in the body. The unique liposome carrier used in the lotion delivers the substance (curcumin) directly to the cells of the human body.
