Vitamin D belongs to the fat-soluble vitamins and only in this form is it absorbed by the body.

Vitamin D assists in the proper functioning of the immune system, contributes to the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth, and supports the proper functioning of muscles.

For a long time, Vitamin D was primarily associated with bone health, so attention was paid to its levels mainly in the prevention of rickets and osteoporosis. Today we know that vitamin D is not only necessary for children and the elderly, as its importance is much broader. This compound affects the work of many organs and tissues, regulates magnesium and phosphorus levels. Its deficiency can contribute to diseases. Receptors for this vitamin are found in every cell of our body.

In the supplement Vitamin D3 2000 IU is suspended in sunflower oil, so it is easily absorbed and can be taken independently of a meal.
