Omega-3 Total (200 ml) is a unique combination of natural high EPA fish oil and organically grown virgin olive oil (antioxidant). A daily serving (8 ml, about 1 tablespoon) provides 2,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA). The recommended dose of 2 g of omega-3 has been shown to effectively regulate insufficient omega-3 levels in the body, which can be detected by measuring the omega-3 index.

WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN?

NATURALLY OMEGA-3-rich FISH OIL
Fish oil comes from wild and sustainably caught fish. NORSAN oil is not sourced as a by-product, but comes directly from the whole fish. Small fish such as sardines, mackerel and anchovies are caught in the wild. They are caught under strict sustainable fishing guidelines and are certified with the well-known "Friends of the Sea" seal. Fish oil is cleaned of contaminants and PCBs and inspected according to strict Norwegian regulations. Natural: no concentrates. Natural fish oil consists of a fatty acid complex of more than 50 fatty acids. This natural structure of fish fatty acids is preserved during the extraction and purification of Omega-3 Total oil. Due to the pollution of the marine environment with heavy metals and chemicals, its inhabitants also absorb these pollutants through their diet. For this reason, it is necessary to carefully purify raw fish oil and remove any potential contaminants. The effect of consuming our unconcentrated natural fish oil is similar to that of consuming fish, and without contaminants.

Unique 3-step purification
Effective cleaning should ensure that the fish oil is free of contaminants. This is usually achieved through a two-step cleaning process. For the fish oil in our NORSAN Omega-3 Total, we use a state-of-the-art and unique 3-step method that also includes an expensive micro-distillation process. This allows us to offer the best and purest quality.

ORGANIC OIL FROM OILS AS AN OIL PROTEIN
The olives for our oil are supplied by Rafael, a grower who works according to organic guidelines. We regularly visit him on site, not only because it is beautiful, but to ensure a close relationship and the highest quality.

Omega-3s are particularly "sensitive" and easily damaged. They must therefore be "protected" not only before consumption, but also in the body - after consumption. That's why our Omega-3 Total oil contains 25% organic virgin olive oil, which acts as a natural and powerful antioxidant. Our olive oil has been specially selected for its powerful antioxidant components.

We use organic extra virgin olive oil with a high content of polyphenols, known for their antioxidant properties. It is the polyphenol content of olive oil that protects omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation. A unique feature of olive oil rich in polyphenols is that it causes a slight tingling sensation in the throat when swallowed.

Natural taste
The quality of the raw materials and the exceptional refinement of the fish oil give NORSAN Omega-3 Total a pleasant taste. The oil is particularly "fresh," which also translates into a good taste. "Freshness" is measured, among other things, by the low value of total oil oxidation (TOTOX). The high quality of the raw materials and the unique 3-step processing and cleaning process, which also includes microdistillation, guarantee the exceptional quality of NORSAN fish oil. Our customers also appreciate the absence of unpleasant reflux.

WHAT TO CHOOSE: CAPSULES OR PURE FISH OIL?

At NORSAN, we are convinced that nature has planned everything in terms of nutrient and food composition, so that natural and unmodified foods are better absorbed by the body. Therefore, NORSAN fish oil is natural oil and we do not chemically process it to make it thicker. Choosing between Omega-3 Capsules and the liquid version of fish oil is a matter of taste. On the one hand, capsules are easier to store on the go and are more suitable for people who don't like to consume pure oil. On the other hand, liquid fish oil is more convenient to integrate into daily life, as it can simply be added to food like normal oil, and it tastes so good that it can also be consumed in its pure form without any problem. Another aspect is the difference in price - capsules are more expensive in the production process due to the additional work step, capsule production, which affects the final price. Thus, the alternative product to liquid oil is more expensive than oil in its original form. We recommend choosing according to your own tastes and feelings. Both products are optimal sources of omega-3 fatty acids and are made from natural oil of wild fish from sustainable fisheries.

The recommended daily dose is 8 ml, equivalent to one tablespoon. One bottle contains 200 ml. For normal consumption, one bottle is enough for about 25 days. The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded, unless otherwise recommended by a doctor.

Recommended: Instead of taking "pure" oil, mix it in a smoothie or add it as a topping to a salad, oatmeal or other cold food.
Storage
Unopened products should not be exposed to direct sunlight and stored in a cool, dry place. Note that crystals can form at temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius. After a few minutes they dissolve at room temperature. It is recommended to shake the bottle briefly before consumption. Keep the product out of the reach of small children. Use the opened bottle within 45 days and store in the refrigerator. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
