Jarrow Formulas Sleep Optimizer combines herbs and amino acids that work together. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), lemon balm and L-tryptophan promote relaxation. The combination of valerian flower and hops has been studied for its effect on reducing latency (delay before entering sleep). Melatonin is a hormone secreted by the pineal gland that controls the biological clock and signals entry into sleep. Our biological clock can be disrupted by stress, crossing time zones and changing jobs.

Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis), L-tryptophan (TryptoPure), Hops cone (Humulus lupulus l.), Melissa leaf (Melissa officinalis), Gamma-aminobutyric acid (PharmaGABA), Melatonin, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids; capsule casing (filling agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose).

Take 1 capsule 20 to 30 minutes before bedtime. RECOMMENDED DAILY DOSE: 1 capsule. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving for consumption.
