Why is chaga considered an effective antioxidant?

Chaga has the highest ORAC among the best-known Far Eastern mushrooms, such as reishi, maitke, shiitake, and sea urchin. ORAC is otherwise known as antioxidant capacity to absorb reactive oxygen species.

What is the relationship between polysaccharides and blood glucose regulation?

Chaga is a mushroom that contains natural levels of specific polysaccharides. Polysaccharides in various plants and fungi are involved in glucose metabolism in the liver. Studies also indicate a mechanism for the effect of polysaccharides present in plants and fungi on increasing tissue sensitivity to insulin.

How is Chaga 100% 500 mg different from other dietary supplements?

Terranova uses the full spectrum of the chaga mushroom, with all stages of its development: mycelium, fruiting body, spores and extracellular components produced by the mushroom. The ingredients are not standardized extracts (e.g., for polysaccharides), and each freeze-dried mushroom provides natural ingredients in the proportions in which they occur in nature.
