An intensely vibrant fragrance, full of color, depth and a surge of sweetness. Scherzo captures a profusion of flowers: dark red rose, clouds of peonies, sunny yellow narcissus and snow-white pittosporum. The sweetness of tangerine balances the intoxicating purple richness of davana, which adds a liqueur note to the fragrance. The base sparkles with oud, earthy patchouli and a touch of sugar. Launched in 2018, Scherzo is inspired by an excerpt from F. Scott Fitzgerald's "Tender is the Night." This short excerpt was the only thing perfumer Mathieu Nardin was given as a guideline to create the fragrance. The resulting perfume became an instant classic and a bestseller for Miller Harris. The fragrance draws on Fitzgerald's description of the heroine, young actress Rosemary Hoyt, strolling amid a symphony of bright flowers in the brilliant summer sunshine.
