Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis) is a popular plant in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is administered primarily to women, which has given it the nickname "female ginseng." Studies of extracts from this plant indicate that the active ingredients in it interact through serotonin receptors, which may explain the traditional use of this plant in menopausal women. The daily serving of the dietary supplement Plant Complex for Women contains 250 mg of the powdered plant.

In Plant Complex for Women there are dill seeds. In the right amount, this plant contributes to the proper elimination of urine. It also supports the excretory function of the kidneys. When taken in the right amount, the female urinary system is also supported by Dong Quai.

How is Plant Complex for Women different from other dietary supplements?

There are many sources of phytoestrogens, or plant estrogen (female hormone), in our food. Terranova therefore reaches for ingredients such as soybean sprouts, alfalfa, kudzu root, which in nature may contain phytoestrogenic isoflavones. However, we do not standardize them, opting for a different route: we use powdered plants.
