HISTORY

Created in 1982, Bain Restructurant was the first shampoo to solve the problems of permed hair. However, perms, which were a huge trend at the time, were damaging to hair and difficult to care for at home. Jean-Marie Greyl was looking for a solution that gently cleansed the hair while maintaining bounce and curls. The answer finally came with banana extract to create definition and shape, which he combined with plant proteins to protect and strengthen the hair.
