Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are fats that naturally occur in both coconut oil and palm kernel oil, but NOW® Sports Organic MCT Oil is derived exclusively from organic coconut oil. MCTs are more easily and quickly digested than other types of fats. They are easily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and are metabolized very quickly by the liver, where they are said to stimulate the use of fat for energy production rather than storage.
Numerous studies suggest that substituting MCT oil for other fats in a healthy diet can help maintain healthy weight and body composition.
NOW® Organic MCT Oil is derived from organic coconut oil that is sustainably sourced to protect our planet and preserve native wildlife habitat.

Contains no yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or sesame. Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens. Does not contain hexane.
Take 1 tablespoon (15 mL) daily. MCT oil can also be used as a replacement for conventional oils in salad dressings, sauces or when cooking. It is not recommended for frying due to its low smoke point.
Store in a cool, dry and dark place in a tightly closed original container. Once opened, the product can be refrigerated or stored at cool room temperature.
