Lutein is a carotenoid that plays an important antioxidant role in the eye2. To supplement our diet with natural lutein, Terranova took advantage of the richness of marigold.

Why is lutein important for the functioning of the organ of vision?

Our eye contains many substances that enable it to function properly. One of these is lutein, which is found in the retina and macula of the eye. Lutein is a pigment that, among other things, protects the layers of photoreceptor cells from damage caused by excess reactive oxygen species formed during sunlight.

How can blueberries help our eyes?

Blueberries, or popular blueberries, have long been well studied for their effects on the eyes. It is known that, when taken in adequate amounts, the antioxidants they contain help maintain normal retinal function.

How is Lutein 20 mg Complex different from other dietary supplements?

Terranova's product supplements our diet with lutein and blueberries, among other things. In addition, Terranova used freeze-dried fresh plants to create this dietary supplement: kale leaf, watercress, rosemary, and sea buckthorn fruit and leaf. They form a synergistic complex, Magnifood, whose role is to support the other active substances in the formula.
