Acid peeling to reduce imperfections with 6% shikimic acid, 5% mandelic acid, 3% lactobionic acid and two powerful antioxidants, glutathione and resveratrol, contributes to a comprehensive action to stimulate the skin to renew and regenerate, deeply cleanse pores and eliminate imperfections and discoloration.
The skin becomes smoother, brighter and more receptive to the active ingredients.

Action

  • Shikimic acid effectively unblocks plugged sebaceous gland outlets, has an antibacterial effect (inhibits the development of pathogens, including Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria responsible for acne lesions). Its irritant potential is low, so it is ideal for sensitive skin: oily, combination, with imperfections.
  • Mandelic acid, because of its relatively large molecule, will be great for sensitive skins with imperfections. Its main task is the regulation of sebum production and antibacterial action.
  • Lactobionic acid effectively soothes and reduces redness, accelerates skin regeneration and renewal, increasing its hydration.
  • Combining the acids with arginine ensures their more effective but less aggressive action.
  • A duo of powerful antioxidants(glutathione and resveratrol) effectively neutralizes the action of free radicals and plays an important role in the elimination of discoloration, such as post-inflammatory.

Apply a small amount of the scrub in the evening to cleansed and dried skin on the face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes, mouth and wings of the nose. Wash your hands after application. Leave the scrub on your face for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water. Use 1-2 times a week.

Use acid peeling only in the evening, 1-2 times a week.

During acid treatment, the skin is more susceptible to sunlight. Apply Light Protective Emulsion SPF 50+ every morning and reapply it every 2-3 hours during the day.

Note: Before applying the peel, it is a good idea to perform a sensitization test on the elbow bend - apply a little product to clean and dry skin in the elbow bend, wash off after 10 minutes and observe for the next 24 hours. If an adverse skin reaction occurs, discontinue use of the product.

A slight burning sensation of the skin during the first applications is a normal symptom and is due to the low pH of the peel (less than 3).

You can also use the peel on the skin of the body, avoiding mucous membranes, for example, on the back, neckline or arms affected by acne or blemishes.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:

Women who are pregnant or breast-feeding should consult a doctor before using the acid peel.
People undergoing topical or general dermatological treatment may use the peel only after consulting their doctor.
Do not use the product on damaged or irritated skin.
The peel can be used all year round, but then it is necessary to apply a high SPF 50+ sunscreen daily for daytime use.
When using the peeling, we recommend implementing products that take care of the hydrolipid barrier into your skin care.
The peeling should not be combined in the same skin care routine (i.e. at the same time of day) with a serum with retinol, nor should it be used during treatment with oral isotretinoin.
The peel does not contain fragrance additives - its specific fragrance note is only due to its composition.

Store in a dry and shaded place at room temperature.
