BENAMÔR was founded in 1925 by a mysterious apothecary who preferred to use plants instead of chemicals. He created miracle ointments in his Lisbon laboratory, located at Campo Grande No. 189.
His unique botanical cosmetic formulas were developed from natural Portuguese ingredients and carefully hand-packed in charming art deco style tubes. They quickly gained popularity among Lisbon's beauties, including Queen Dona Amélia, who remained loyal to the brand throughout her life.
