Hydrochloric acid (HCl) is normally produced in the stomach, where it is involved in protein digestion by activating pepsin, helps maintain a healthy balance in the intestinal flora and stimulates the secretion of intestinal enzymes. Pepsin is a protease produced in the stomach that partially breaks down proteins from food. HCl production declines with age, so supplementation with HCl and pepsin can help maintain normal digestive function.

This product contains a vegetarian acid-resistant protease with activity comparable to that of animal-derived pepsin.

betaine hydrochloride (betaine HCl) 648 mg.
Acid protease enzyme 150 mg (150 SAPU)*.

Ingredients: betaine hydrochloride, acid protease enzyme (extracted from Aspergillus niger mushroom culture), capsule ingredient: glazing agent (cellulose); anti-caking agents (cellulose powder, vegetable fatty acid magnesium salts, silicon dioxide).

Take 1 capsule 1-3 times a day just before meals with a glass of water.

Do not take on an empty stomach (i.e. fasting and between meals).

Do not exceed the recommended serving for consumption per day.

Best consumed before the end: date on the bottom of the package.

The product is not intended for children, pregnant women and nursing mothers.

People suffering from hyperacidity, gastroesophageal reflux, the use of the preparation should consult a doctor. Do not use in case of peptic ulcer disease (both gastric and duodenal) and hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
