Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is naturally produced in the human body in very small amounts, but is also available in some foods.

ALA is unique in that it can function in both aqueous and fatty environments. ALA is involved in the production of glutathione and can also recycle vitamins C and E, thereby increasing their antioxidant activity. In addition, ALA can help maintain healthy nerve tissues, promote normal glucose metabolism and support healthy cardiovascular function.

This extra-potent product has more alpha lipoic acid (600 mg per capsule) than our regular product (100 mg per capsule).

Alpha lipoic acid (granules) 600 mg.
Grape seed (Vitis vinifera) extract (standardized for polyphenols) 30 mg.
Black pepper fruit extract (Bioperine®) 5 mg

Other ingredients: hypromellose (cellulose capsule), calcium laurate and silicon dioxide.

Not made with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, nuts or sesame. Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Take 1 capsule daily, preferably with a meal.
