Omega-3 Vegan (100 ml) is a unique combination of highly dosed seaweed oil and virgin olive oil from controlled organic cultivation (antioxidant). A daily serving (5 ml/1 teaspoon) provides 2,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids.

Algae oil is very rich in DHA and also contains EPA. Thus, it is an optimal source of omega-3 fatty acids for anyone who wants to exclude all animal products from their diet.

NORSAN Omega-3 Vegan oil has a pleasant taste and one teaspoon together with breakfast can be easily incorporated into the daily diet. Consumption of our oil does not lead to unpleasant reflux. Fresh (low oxidation) seaweed oil smells nice and has a pleasant taste, it is especially fresh, making it easy to consume and digest.

NORSAN: ALGAE OIL

Microalgae with their unique photosynthesis are the basis of our existence. They contain essential nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, which indirectly come from fish and seafood in our diet. Algae or seaweed oil is a good alternative for those who don't eat fish. And it allows us to get directly to the source of omega-3.

NORSAN Omega-3 Vegan is 100% plant-based algae oil. The oil is extracted from the marine microalgae Schizochytrium sp. These are microscopic algae that feed exclusively on organic and plant matter, such as dead leaves. Schizochytrium sp. microalgae are particularly rich in the marine omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA. Thus, it is ideal for the production of vegan omega-3 oil. Due to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids, our vegetable algae oil inherently contains a high dose of them. Therefore, no further chemical processing is necessary to obtain a higher concentration

The production process is sustainable and environmentally friendly. The marine microalgae we use to produce Omega-3 Vegan do not come from the sea. They are grown in large ponds containing artificial seawater. This saves resources and protects the food base of the fish. In this way, we do not interfere with the natural ecosystem of the sea, saving fish stocks and krill.

WHY FLAXSEED OIL ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH

EPA and DHA are present in marine sources such as fish, algae and krill. Most omega-3 vegetable oils, such as flaxseed oil and chia oils, contain only the vegetable omega-3 fatty acid ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) and do not contain EPA and DHA.

Among vegetable oils, for example, flaxseed oil contains particularly high levels of ALA. Nuts and chia seeds also contain ALA. It is important to know that ALA can only be converted to a limited degree into the important marine omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. The conversion rate is only 0.5-10% and is highly dependent on weight, metabolism and other factors. Scientific studies generally agree in the conclusion that ALA intake alone cannot regulate EPA and DHA deficiency.

ORGANIC OLIVE OIL AS A NATURAL ANTIOXIDANT

The olives to make the oil are supplied by Rafael, our grower, who works according to organic guidelines. And we regularly visit Rafael in his olive grove in Spain.

Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids are particularly "sensitive" and easily damaged. They must therefore be "protected" not only before consumption, but also in the body, after consumption. That's why our Omega-3 Vegan Oil contains 25% organic extra virgin olive oil, which acts as a natural and powerful antioxidant. Our olive oil has been specially selected for its powerful antioxidant components.

For Omega-3 Vegan, as for our other Omega-3 products, we use organic extra virgin olive oil with a high content of polyphenols, known for their antioxidant properties. It is the polyphenol content of olive oil that protects omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation. A unique feature of polyphenol-rich olive oil is that it causes a slight tingling sensation in the throat when swallowed.

VITAMIN D

The vitamin D present in Omega-3 Vegan is vegan. It is extracted from lichens. These are biocenoses between fungi and one or more related elements active in photosynthesis (e.g., green algae, cyanobacteria).

The recommended daily serving for consumption is 5 ml, which is equivalent to about up to one teaspoon. At the recommended dosage, one bottle is sufficient for 20 days. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake unless otherwise recommended by your doctor, therapist or pharmacist.

Storage
Unopened products should not be exposed to direct sunlight and should be stored in a cool, dry place. Note that crystals can form at temperatures below 4 degrees Celsius. After a few minutes they dissolve at room temperature. It is recommended to shake the bottle briefly before consumption. Keep the product out of the reach of small children. Use the opened bottle within 30 days and store in the refrigerator. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
