ETAS® is a Japanese nutraceutical, from the lower parts of asparagus (Asparagus officinalis). The compounds in ETAS® have been shown to reduce stress and improve sleep quality. They activate the production of "guardian" proteins (i.e., heat shock proteins HSP70) in the body, which have the ability to maintain the balance (so-called homeostasis) of the cell. The aforementioned proteins form a protective shield against stress and nervous system dysfunction. This effect is similar to the effects of bathing in hot springs or a sauna, whose action delays the aging process and relieves stress.
