Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient well known for its important role in the immune system. Vitamin C is also necessary for the production of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue) and is therefore important for skin, bone and joint health. Vitamin C is needed for amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis and the utilization of many nutrients such as folic acid and iron. It is also a very effective antioxidant that can help maintain healthy tissues by neutralizing free radicals produced during normal metabolism and exposure to environmental stressors.

This product provides calcium ascorbate, a buffered form of vitamin C that is bioavailable and non-acidic; it is enriched with bioflavonoids that act synergistically with vitamin C.

  • Vitamin C (from calcium ascorbate) 1 g (1,000 mg).
  • Calcium (from calcium ascorbate) 100 mg.
  • Citrus bioflavonoid complex 250 mg
  • Acerola (Malpighia punicifolia) powder (fruit) 50 mg
  • Rutin (Sophora japonica) powder (flower bud) 50 mg

Other ingredients: hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose (cellulose), stearic acid (vegetable source), vegetarian coating, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide.

Not made with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts or sesame ingredients. Manufactured in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Use 1 tablet per day.
