Moisturizing cream against imperfections with curcumin is a preparation for acne-prone skin, among others, which contains in its composition an innovative liposome carrier.

Liposomes are structures formed spontaneously from phospholipids. They take the form of vesicles 0.01-1 μm in size filled with water or aqueous solution and surrounded by a double lipid layer about 5 nm thick. The envelope of liposomes is structured analogously to biological membranes. Liposomes are found in living organisms, such as in the blood.

Liposomes increase the ability to penetrate the epidermis and bioavailability of the active substance in the body. The unique liposome carrier used in the serum delivers this substance (curcumin) directly to the cells of the human body.

The carriers used in the cream are made of pharmaceutical-standard phosphatidylcholine, so they are perfectly incorporated into cell membranes. They are fully biodegradable and biocompatible molecules.
