    Each of Collagyn's vegan products is enriched with specific plant-based ingredients that benefit the brain, body and beauty, and comes in customized flavors. You can make your choice based on your health goals, but each blend supports the body holistically for broad benefits.
    All of the Vegan Collagyn products provide plant-based sources of the major amino acids that are naturally present in collagen (glycine, proline, hydroxyproline), ensuring collagen renewal, while also containing specific nutrients that are difficult to obtain from a vegan diet, including vitamin D, iodine and choline.
    Other nutrients that are also key to skin health and collagen renewal, including vitamin C, are also included.
    All of the plant ingredients are well studied and used for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

IS VEGAN COLLAGYN ORGANIC?

    Each Vegan Collagyn product contains certified organic pea protein and brown rice powder, as well as wildcrafted organic Hebridean seaweed.
    Additionally, Radiant Collagyn contains certified organic beets, and Inspired Collagyn contains certified organic turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and black pepper.
    However, since Vegan Collagyn products are classified as dietary supplements because they contain additional nutrients such as vitamin D, vitamin C, choline, L-glycine, L-proline, L-hydroxyproline, L-alanine, L-arginine, we are unable to register them with the Soil Association for certification.
    Whether they are organic or not, we always strive to find the best quality ingredients, sustainably sourced and as bioavailable as possible.

HOW DOES VEGAN COLLAGYN COMPARE TO TRUE COLLAGEN AND WILD COLLAGEN?

    Collagen is a naturally occurring compound found in humans and animals, which of course makes it difficult to obtain on a vegan diet
    The long chains of amino acids that make up the polypeptides found in a large collagen molecule are mainly composed of just 5 key amino acids - glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, arginine and alanine. Instead of using bovine or marine hydrolyzed collagen peptides, the Vegan Collagyn series contains generous amounts of all 5 of these amino acids, from vegan and fermented sources (with the exception of glycine, which is of vegan origin), to provide the body with the collagen building blocks it needs.
    Vegan Collagyn also contains vitamin C, a key cofactor for the enzymes that build new collagen molecules.

    In short, YES! The Vegan Collagyn range is designed as part of our Brave Method, which cleverly supports the many different forms of intermittent fasting, time-restricted eating and ketogenic diets that are so popular today.
    During the fasting period - consuming no more than 50 kcal during the fasting period is unlikely to disrupt the fast. All Vegan Collagyn products contain less than 36 kcal per 10 g serving when prepared with hot water. If you find the last few hours of your fasting period challenging, or if you're looking for a nutritious vegan hot beverage to help you start the day without offsetting the all-night fasting efforts, Vegan Collagyn products are the support for you.
    If you're following a keto protocol of limiting total carbohydrates to no more than 20 grams per day during your eating window, Vegan Collagyn products are entirely appropriate to help keep you going between meals or reach for as a protein snack. Vegan Collagyn products can also be prepared with milk or plant-based milk for a comfortable and luxurious drink.

DOES COLLAGYN SUPPORT GUT HEALTH?

    Yes, we used inulin, a type of prebiotic starch found in many different fruits, vegetables and herbs. It stays in the gut and helps beneficial bacteria grow. The inulin in our products comes from chicory root, a supplement known to support the health of our intestines. The blends also contain gut-friendly herbs such as turmeric and ginger, known to heal the digestive system, and antioxidant-rich berries, which the gut loves!

I HAVE HERPES, SHOULD I AVOID THIS PRODUCT?

    This question often refers to the amino acid arginine. While this amazing amino acid is responsible for increasing blood flow and improving brain health, the herpes simplex virus (which causes herpes) requires arginine to replicate in the body. Depriving the virus of arginine can shorten the duration and severity of an outbreak. Once symptoms subside, the product can be resumed.
