NORDBO Iron & C is a vegan iron supplement containing 20 mg of iron bisglycinate and 100 mg of vitamin C from acid-neutral calcium ascorbate. Iron bisglycinate has high bioavailability and is gentle on the stomach due to the binding of iron to the amino acid glycine. Iron contributes to the formation of red blood cells, reduces feelings of fatigue and exhaustion, and contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C is added to optimize iron absorption.

Most common deficiency

Worldwide, iron deficiency is the most common micronutrient deficiency. Absorption from food is relatively low, and it is particularly difficult for the body to absorb iron from plant sources. Iron deficiency is particularly common among vegans, vegetarians and pregnant and menstruating women. Typical symptoms include pale skin, fatigue and a weakened immune system.
