Corrective serum with retinal 0.07%, phytosphingosine and Carnosine 2.0 REDUCTION AND STIMULATION, designed for evening care of the skin, neck and décolleté, shows effective anti-wrinkle and anti-acne effects.

The cosmetic thickens the skin, visibly rejuvenating it. The vitamin A derivative used in it has antibacterial properties that help reduce imperfections. Phytosphingosine, a natural ingredient derived from ceramides, reduces redness and prevents inflammation, alleviating potential side effects of the serum. Carnosine 2.0 firms the skin and makes it more supple, while reducing widespread discomfort. The addition of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid brightens the complexion, giving it a healthy tone.

Action

  • Our 0.07 agent! Stable retinal is the last compound in the conversion to retinoic acid (which cannot be used in cosmetic products). It is distinguished by its antibacterial properties, so it will be helpful in the care of acne-prone complexions, and because of its low irritant potential, it can be used without fear in the care of skin affected by rosacea. The ingredient effectively fights hyperpigmentation, has an anti-aging effect, shallowing wrinkles, as well as improving skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Vitamin C in the form of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid soothes micro-inflammation and reduces redness, thus minimizing the side effects of the treatment, while brightening the complexion and positively affecting its overall appearance.
  • Vitamin E (INCI: Tocopherol) together with Coenzyme Q10 (INCI: Ubiquinone), a duo of powerful antioxidants, fight free radicals, soothe the skin or slow down the aging process.
  • Ceramides NP and AP, as the so-called intercellular cement, promote skin renewal, accelerating skin regeneration processes.
  • Carnosine 2.0, is resistant to degradation, so it is much more effective than L-carnosine. The ingredient restores proper skin tone, prevents the effects of photoaging, lightens brown discoloration (PIH - Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation), but also generally improves skin tone.
  • The free sphingoid amine found in the skin, phytosphingosine, a natural anti-inflammatory agent, improves the appearance of acne-prone skin, reduces redness and irritation.
  • Phospholipids, which are carriers of retinal, stabilize it and reduce the risk of irritation.

Apply a small amount of the serum in the evening to cleansed and dry skin, avoiding the area around the eyes and mouth. After applying the product, we recommend washing your hands thoroughly. Use the serum alone the first time to assess the skin's reaction. Ultimately, about 30-40 minutes after the application of retinal, you can apply Ceramide rich cream.

PRECAUTIONS:
- Due to its high retinol content, the product should not be used by pregnant women. Use during lactation should be consulted with your health care provider.
- When using retinoids, apply very high sun protection such as LIGHT PROTECTIVE EMULSION SPF50+ daily and avoid sun exposure. Year-round use of retinal is acceptable, but before any planned increased sun exposure, discontinue use completely about 4 weeks in advance.
- During the first weeks of use, redness, dryness or irritation of the skin, as well as peeling, may be observed - this is the result of the skin building up a tolerance to the active substance. In this case, moisturizing, nourishing and rebuilding hydrolipidic barrier products should be used in a complementary way.
- During retinal treatment, the skin requires increased hydration and regeneration.
HOW TO CARRY OUT RETINAL TREATMENT?
Start the treatment with a lower concentration - 0.07% retinal. For the first two weeks, apply the serum every fourth evening. If there are no side effects during this period, then you can reduce the interval between applications by 1 day after each completed two weeks of treatment as follows:
0-2 week - application every 4th evening
3-4 week - application every 3rd evening
4-6 week - application every 2nd evening
You will get to the point where the serum with retinal is already applied 4 times a week. Only when you already tolerate the product well at this frequency of use (not before!), you can start using the next concentration, in this case 0.15%. To do this, take a 3-day break and repeat the above regimen with the Correcting serum with 0.15% retinal.

The serum does not contain fragrance additives, its slightly noticeable note is due to the composition.
Store in a dry and shaded place at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Shelf life of the product after opening: 6 months
PLEASE NOTE: 3M PAO may appear on the packaging, but after additional research we are confident that our products remain stable for up to 6 months. Out of concern for the planet, we do not dispose of old packaging with PAO 3M, and the updated information will be applied to the new batch.
The serum may stain light-colored bedding and clothing. We recommend protecting your pillow, and using a stain remover if stains appear.
