A healthy lifestyle is a kind of balance. Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak

THEGLOOW.COM: We are proud to announce that you have become the face of the campaign for THEGLOOW, a new luxury multi-brand online retailer of select dietary supplements, cosmetics and wellness and spa accessories.

Agnieszka Wozniak-Starak: Us as well.

Thank you very much for accepting our proposal. You are known not only for your professional achievements, your love for animals, but also for your healthy lifestyle. What is a healthy lifestyle for you?

A healthy lifestyle is a kind of balance. In my opinion, there is room for everything in life: both for a little bit of craziness and to really take care of how we feel both externally and internally. You mentioned supplements, I have been using them for years, but I also try to test regularly, to see what my body needs. I move a lot, because sports are an integral part of a healthy life. It is important for me to spend a great deal of time with animals in nature, then I take care of my mental health. It is definitely worth finding time and space to rest, to relax, to do what we like to do, to pursue our own passions, to read, to get enough sleep, to hydrate the body, and sometimes to spend a super evening with friends over wine, because there must be room for that too.

And what is success for you? Success is a state in which we have inner peace.

I think the biggest success is reaching that moment when we are satisfied with where we are in our lives. It does not have to be big things that we do. Sometimes something small is needed for happiness and for that sense of fulfillment. I try to put a lot of work and myself into the projects I do, get very involved in them, give it my all, because it also gives me the feeling that I've done something 100%. Well, and then when there is success, I have peace of mind. (Laughter)

What three healthy habits have contributed to your professional success?

In addition to always trying to be professional and well-prepared at work, I also need to be rested. On the one hand, I love an active lifestyle, lots of movement, including outdoors, because it fuels me and gives me energy for action, on the other hand, I do nott forget about regeneration. This rest is extremely important in my life. I have my own rituals that I love in the morning and without which I can not imagine a good entry into a new day. I do not like to rush, I often say it, I need to have time for everything. I have these various steps of my own, which if I do, I can breathe deeply and start a new day, go to work and fulfill my duties as I would like to do. I feel that I am well prepared. You mentioned supplements, so I wanted to ask if supplementation plays an important role just in your rituals. How do you prepare for important events or for important projects? It plays a very important role on a daily basis. I have been using supplements for years, always under the supervision of a doctor, and these are not particularly fancy supplements, this is more of a supplementation classic. These are Omega acids, vitamin C and vitamin D, which we should supplement in our geographic zone, because we do not get enough sunshine, and since I have been supplementing it I have no vitamin D3 deficiency. I have recently included mushrooms, the Lion’s Mane, which is also great for helping with concentration. I really enjoy my morning coffee with Lion’s Mane powder. Sometimes it is collagen or vitamin B12. I try not to eat meat, so this supplementation is also very important for me. Well, and I think that is it, that is kind of the basis. Sometimes I also do short-term therapies, recently under the supervision of a doctor I included glutathione, which is also a very powerful antioxidant. Because supplementation is also often about this fight we have, a little unfairly, with the aging of the body, with the aging of cells. It is not about looking young indefinitely, it is about feeling good. We are living longer and longer, so we should care about the quality of this life.

That was my next question. How do you take care of your body, mind and keep yourself in great shape?

For the mind, stimulation and rest are key. I know that my body needs 7 hours of sleep and then it is good. Also, learning something new works great for our mind, because then new connections of neurons are formed in our brain and it ages slower. It is important to learn something all the time in life. I, fortunately, have a job that requires it of me, so I necessarily expand my knowledge by preparing for my programs. But not only that, because I like to learn new things in general. And besides, I also love pleasures, beauty treatments, massages, which are especially important, because I also do a lot of sports, so this regeneration of the whole body is insanely important.

What beauty treatments do you use and what products do you choose?

As I mentioned earlier I use professional massages, but I also use such rollers, both for the body and face. I love body brushing, which is great when you need to get on your feet quickly in the morning. I like light therapy, some time ago I discovered the led face mask, which I like to use a lot. Great relaxation, I recommend it. This light is said to have a fantastic effect on the skin, so I am testing it out. Moisturizing is, of course, a must. Good preparations for the body, face, hyaluronic acid and acids in general, mostly used in autumn in higher concentrations, is what I like to use. Moisturizing, moisturizing, getting enough sleep and more moisturizing. (Laughter)

And sports, and love of animals

And sports, and love of animals, lots of greenery, lots of nature and lots of exercise.

It is about the love of animals that I would like to ask, you are known for your love of animals. What do you think about animal supplements? Is this a new trend or a passing fad?

This is a trend that is certainly gaining popularity, but supplements for animals have been available on our market for a long time, and I think that if we use supplements ourselves, so can our pets. Unfortunately, our pets live much shorter lives than we do, they age faster, and I think this is where supplementation is worth including. I use joint supplements for my dogs - just in the case of large breeds, joint disease is very common. Also popular are various oils - oh oils! I also use a lot on myself, both internally and externally, with massages. I like oils very much, and dogs can be added to their food, of course, according to their needs and in consultation with the veterinarian.

Thank you very much for the interview.
