BetaPRO® dietary supplement is a capsule formulation containing beta glucans from Saccharomyces cervisiae 1,3-1,6, vitamin D from Quali-D® lanolin, Quercefit® quercetin, zinc in the organic form of zinc gluconate, L-selenomethionine, L-leucine and acacia fiber. BetaPRO® is a product that comprehensively supports the immune system.

Beta glucans (β-glucans) are a group of naturally occurring polysaccharides found in the cell walls of bacteria, yeast, fungi, algae and plants such as oats and barley. Having such diverse origins, beta glucans differ in their specific biological properties. All beta glucans belong to the soluble dietary fiber fraction. Structurally, beta glucans are polymers with short or long chains, built from glucose units linked by beta glycosidic bonds. Depending on the bond, isomers are formed. The type of bond indicates the origin of a given beta glucan. Fungal beta glucans have short chains linked by 1.6 bonds while yeast beta glucans are more elaborate, having 1.6 with 1.3 side branches, hence the 1.3-1.6 designation.

WHAT MAKES BETAPRO™ AN IMMUNE SUPPORT SUPPLEMENT?

BetaPRO™ supplement contains as many as 3 potent ingredients for the proper functioning of the immune system: vitamin D, zinc and selenium. Beta glucans have a very rich literature on their immonomodulating effects. Quercetin affects histamine inhibition. Vitamin D3 in the form of patented Quali-D® is the basis for proper immune function. Vitamin D affects the levels of cytokines and interleukins that promote the activation of the Th2 arm of immunity. Zinc as an organic form derived from zinc gluconate is one of the best absorbed forms of zinc. Zinc supports the production and maturation of white blood cells, including neutrophils and NK cells. Gluconate is characterized by its beneficial effects in reducing the severity of infections in people with upper respiratory diseases. Selenium influences the normal immune response and acts as an antioxidant. Essential for the production of Natural Killers cells. Selenium is one of the cofactors for the production of glutathione, which is important for anti-inflammatory effects on the human body.

WHAT IS THE DOSAGE OF THE SUPPLEMENT?

The daily serving of BetaPRO™ is 2 capsules. The daily serving consists of:
  • 250 mg of beta glucans,
  • 50 µg of vitamin D,
  • 80 mg Quercefit®,
  • 10 mg of zinc,
  • 25 mcg L-selenomethionine.

WHEN SHOULD BETAPRO™ BE TAKEN ?

We recommend taking the product with a meal.

  • heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury),
